Mythbuster: How Long Should Your Tie be.

 Recently I have seen a lot people wearing their tie the wrong way. It's either too long or too short  which is contrary to what I learnt from my dad. 

 Well it turns out that combining colors for an outfit is not the only problem people have with clothing. Among the other things you've been doing wrong, wearing your tie at an incorrect length is also included. 

     So what is the correct length of a tie?

I have seen a lot of people debate on how long a tie should be worn. Surprisingly, I happen to be one of them. Infact this article was written as a result of the debate I had with a colleague of mine.

         After hours of digging, I found the answer in the last place I looked, my MAILSHOT!

As fashion enthusiasts the tip of your tie should end in the middle of your belt buckle. So it's best to have the tie end at the top part of your waistband. Irrespective of the type of tie knot, your tie length should be relative to your waistband or belt buckle.

When the tie is worn too long it loose fitting and if it's too short you might end up looking like a clown .
